The mission
of this website is to provide a glimpse into a human's everyday life when
an iguana is a part of it. There are many iguana-related sites on
the Internet, but maugee.com is different. Though you'll find a fair
share of technical information if you dig deep enough, for the most part
this site exists to present potential iguana owners (and people who already
share their space with a little green face) with exactly what daily life
becomes (or should be) when you welcome a complicated lizard into it.
They're beautiful, exotic, and very intelligent -- but if you don't care
for them properly from day one, you may find that you have a very tempramental
(or lethargic) lizard on your hands, with a life that is drastically cut
short. To prevent an unhappy ending, research what you're getting
yourself into, starting here. If you don't have the time to read
through this entire site, you definitely don't have the time to care for
an iguana who needs so much from you. If you have any comments, concerns,
